Aeneas has extensive experience in the financial services industry in London and New York and enjoys strong relationships with financiers and leaders of industry, in the UK and abroad, with a particular connection to Africa. He has expertise across a wide range of sectors including natural resources, clean energy, media and technology and his clients are typically privately and publicly owned companies, which range in size from start-ups to large global corporations.
Between 1987-1991, he was a Financial Analyst and Associate in the Investment Banking department of Salomon Brothers. In 1992, he joined the Equity Capital Markets department at Robert Fleming before running the firm's Equity Syndicate desk in New York (1995-2000). In 2000, he rejoined Fleming's Equity Capital Markets team in London (which evolved into JP Morgan) before leaving to Co-Found Montrose Partners in 2003.
