Andrew Nalder has 35 years' experience in financial services in Europe, of which 20 years in private equity, including with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in the UAE as Senior Investment Controller. There he managed successfully the global co-investment arm of their multi-billion private equity programme through the most successful period in its recent history with an average of 6 x return on capital within 4 years.
As Managing Partner of Private Equity Capital, he has acted as a consultant for European and Middle Eastern investors, saving several million dollars on complex investments. He set up the European office of Landmark Partners, a leading US secondary private equity investor, including substantial fund raising which he continued to do as a Partner at Access Capital.
He is a joint honours graduate in Law & History, an international corporate lawyer (Linklater & Paines) and worked for 7 years as an equity corporate financier advising on cross border mergers and acquisitions with Standard Chartered Merchant Bank and Samuel Montagu (now HSBC). Having lived for over 27 years in Continental Europe and the Middle East, he speaks several languages.
